About   3 comments

I’m a wife, mother, and writer, living in the Kansas City Metro area. I’m currently working to juggle all the demands of life with my desire to be a published author.  I blog about writing, homeschooling, God, church, and life in general.

  1. Ever find someone who has almost exactly the same goals as you? I saw your post about the thyroid on SDL, and then clicked the link. I have hypothyroidism (which is why I clicked..lol), and then I read your ‘About’. Too bad you live so far from me- it sounds like we’d have a lot to ‘talk over the fence’ about! :)
So I’ll be daring enough to ask if you’d like to be email buddies with me. I’m an at-home mom of two kids (girl 9, boy 13- he has Asbergers), and I also sew and write. I do humor for the most part, but I also like to write fantasy, cookbooks, short stories…well, pretty much anything! I write for an online magazine called Ruby for Women (I do the family humor column called Footprints in the Mud- just like my blog) Let me know if you’re interested in chatting!

    • I would love to be email buddies. I’m super busy, so one thing I end up short-changing myself on is interaction with other moms. I’ll send you an email just as soon as I get a chance (hopefully later today).

  2. Hi! I wanted to stop by to say thank you for taking the time to read my post on unemployment over on MoneySavingMom. Praise God for granting you the courage to share your story! May He use it to strengthen the faith of others, who are going through similar things.
